First snow brings kitties

We had our first snow fall of the year last night. Started around 8 or so I think and lasted most of the night from the looks of it. It looks like we got maybe 6 inches of white fluffyness dropped on us over the course of the evening, which now covers everything in the yard.

I let the dogs out earlier and they went hyper all over the place rolling in the snow, biting at it and throwing one another down in the cold that covers the ground. It is amusing to see Shy Girl toss her brother, who is twice her size, down to the ground like that.

Early this morning, about 7 a.m., Mojo had her litter of kittens underneath the sofa. Nice soft patch of carpet left over from the carpeting I tore out of the living room and tucked in behind some things I had put under the sofa for storage. Gives her a nice place to hide with her kittens where the dogs can't get too curious or close to them. I have been leatting her be on her own so far, occasional small mews proof that her and her babies are still tucked under there.
