The Anchorage weather guys have set a high wind advisory into effect for the Mat-Su Valley, which means lots of winds in my area tonight. Expectations are for gusts to reach up to 75 mph in the Valley until sometime Thursday.
My house is fairly tight, so there is not much blowing in through cracks when it comes to the winds and stuff, but I still feel a sort of psychological chill effect each time the gusts pick up outside.
Good night to hunker down and keep the emergency candles and a box of matches handy.
