I'm sitting here listening to the news reports out of Japan on what is going on in the aftermath of the Tsunami and the most heart wrenching report I have heard so far has got to be the gentleman who said that he has a bad leg and limps, so his wife was behind him calling out a cadence to keep him moving. He stopped hearing her encourage him onward and looked back to discover she was no longer there. As a former family caregiver, that pulled at my heartstrings in ways I can't really describe.
The nuclear plants are definitely the most covered thing in the news right now, but the things that have been catching my attention are things like the gentleman who's wife tried until her last moment to help him get out ahead of the tsunami.
