Ouch - stupid seam ripper

One of the problems with trying to use a seam ripper while sewing, is that every once in a while the seam ripper decides that it is a skin ripper instead. Ow! I just stabbed myself good trying to take a seam out of a motocross shirt, so I'm going to need to take a break for a while and do something else until the blood stops flowing.
