Making the time to work

I'll tell you, it's neigh impossible to schedule work time and have it coincide with when I need to be doing the work. I suppose that is one of the problems with being a caregiver and trying to run a home office, you're always on call for house calls outside of the office and into the next room for anywhere from 30 seconds to 2 hours.

I'd like to be able to carve out an actual nine to five work schedule, but so far it's ending up to be more like nine minutes here to five minutes there. Not exactly what I think they had in mind when they said you work 9 to 5.

I want to work on my novel. ::pouts:: Will hopefully get back to that when I have the office moved into the basement and better organized. (Hey, I can hope can't I?)
