Breaking the silence....

I've not made it to this blog in far too long. There is really no reason why I should be so quiet, I just never seem to have the time in the day to get everything I want to do done. I've been rebuilding the office I work in. Started by repainting the walls and constructing a large desk area out of some old bi-fold closet doors and some old taken apart pressboard desk kits. I even have a pressboard television cabinet I tore apart for the project, so on one end of the desk is now a glass fronted display case. I am still working on this project, but it seems to be coming along very nicely.

I'm still working on my novel, but have taken a break to work on the office and to work my way through a self taught writing class.

I have one of them wireless keyboards now, have had it for a while, and I love it, except the thing is now skippig letters when I try to type so if I don't watch the writing I end up with:

he qick row f umped overthe lazydog's ck.

Instead of:

The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog's back.

Makes it hard to quickly follow a muse. I'm hoping new batteries later today will help it. Enough rambling, I'll end this and get back to working on my makeshift desk.
