Has it really been so long?

I could not believe how long it's been since I had made an entry in this blog. Things have been really busy for me, so I guess that is sort of an excuse - not a good one, but an excuse nevertheless.

I have moved out of the office that had been taking over half my bedroom - I am now in the basement and I love it. Large open spaces in which to set up desks and lots of wall space for putting up bullitain boards and layout boards and maps. For those that read this blog decades ago (or read down from this post lol) the map I was making when I first started this blog turned out wonderfully and is now waiting the perfect location on a wall to be decided upon. I will try to think to get a picture of it up on my site when I get my camera talking to a computer again.

I have taken up quilting along with my love of bookbinding and creating one of a kind dolls, so now there is even more I can use to procrastinate from writing. As if I did not have enough already. ::sigh::

In more intersting news - my site (for those that have not seen it lately) has got some really good new features. I now have classified ads for writers and a message forum where writers can share information and talk and hang out. They can even announce their book or magazine articles being published.

In related news I have two webrings of my very own. One I made myself - it's for websites that have stuff of interest to writers that are working on the first draft of their story or article. And the other webring is one that had become an orphan webring and I adopted it to love and care for it - Secret Window: a ring for women writers.

Okay - late here so heading off to bed. And I promise, I will start updating this blog with stuff from the life of a struggling writer (that's me) at least weekly rather than yearly.
