Ah - procrastination, what a wonderful tool. But at least today my procrastination has been fairly productive. I have myself clean desks, sharpened pencils, a desk calendar, and a written out schedule that includes everything I need to do in the day (color coded by task too) and even has time set aside for sleep. =-o I dunno how that sleep got in there, but there's actually a full 8 hours of it in my day. (In reality I shall likely only achieve at best 5 hours worth two in 2.5 hour segments, but at least I have it planned to be able to sleep.)
That all failed to fill enough of my work day, so I then messed with several small tasks and washed some laundry... but....
I have now run out of reasons not to write, hence the title of this post, so I am going to dig out chapter 11 of Heir to Magic (my novel in progress - see A Writer's Life for more details) and get to work on it. I need to reread what's wrote so far and get back to work on it after almost a week of not working on the story. Will post a update on progress to A Writer's Life when I am done working on it for the day.
