Cell Phones in Cars

I'm not sure about some people's mentality. Mom and me went to town today and I got to looking, there was a lot of people driving along with a cell phone stuck to their ear. Wasn't there something in driving classes years ago about both hands on the wheel? It has been proven that even someone using a wireless cell phone is as bad as a drunk driver with a 0.8 blood alchohol level, so why can people still pass a cop talking on their cell phones? It's stupid. When my mom goes anywhere everyone knows she is not going to answer her cell phone if it rings, she will pull over at the fiurst safe opportunity and check the caller ID and call the person back. And she is not technologicaly inclined. Why can't these dipshit soccor mom's and twitterpaited teenagers and overworked businessmen all just take three minutes to pull over, check their caller ID, and call the person back? Are they really so afraid they will miss hearing about such and such that it's worth wiping out another car and killing a little kid or the mother of three?

I think that cars should be manditorilly equipped with a buffer that prevents the use of cell phones within the car. Something to interfere with the signal and keep people focused on what they are doing (driving) rather than distracted by finding out what their spouse wants to eat for dinner.
