Okay, I was walking through the house earlier and spied the poker chip caddy sitting on a shelf. It was a fairly fast realization really, use the poker chips to "buy" food through the day. So armed with my old second hand Weight Watcher's books I got a couple years ago in a second hand store I calculated again how many points I can have and counted out that many white poker chips. I also counted out six blue chips to represent the needed six glasses of water I was to drink.
We'll see how this new plan works out, if it is easier to keep track of the points with the poker chips than it is in a notebook.
This also coincides with another idea, which was what made the chips such a easy to put together equation, where I was thinking to get a bunch of quarters or pennies or something and I had to buy the calorie content of things I ate, leaving me to put into savings anything I had left over at the end of the day from a basic starting amount. (Say $20 worth of pennies for a 2,000 calorie diet)
Still working on the idea from the toher day of a website for dieting, but just as a slow boredom filling hobby.
