Bathroom decorating for the holidays

In getting things ready for the holidays I have been adding a bit of decoration to the bathroom. A swag draped along over the medicine cabinet mirrors, red and green candles here and there, a bit of greenery on the back of the toilet and a fancy dish with a doilie in it and some assorted colors of Christmas tree balls tucked into it.

It has got me to thinking about me and mom's plans for revisions to the bathroom. We have a very nice large tub, but the showering facilities quite frankly suck. A hand held shower sprayer. We have plans to take the washer and dryer and move them into a wash room we want to build onto the end of the back porch and change the place where the washer and dryer are now into a walk in shower. Something like this shower from Taps4Less.com. Only where the palm plant is in the picture would be about where the toilet is in our bathroom.

Rather than the tile work that they have in the pictures, though, I want to continue the mural I have been painting along the wall behind the bathtub and add sealant so it is waterproof in the shower.
