A college admissions site that take the power out of the numbers and puts it into the student's skills

Okay, sissy, I know that you have been pulling your hair out about them colleges you are chasing. Here's a great new idea that I found - Zinch.

I mean it sis. Check out Zinch.com, it takes the power out from the scores (those evil numbers) and puts it in the hands of the students - in their skills. You can upload audio, video, writing samples and images that help you to better showcase stuff like your artistic skills that it is simply not possible for AP, SAT or ACT test to fully demonstrate. (::takes Nerf bat away from sissy::: yes, I know there's nothing wrong with your scores, that's not what I meant. I mean this place is great to go beyond those things and show what you can do!)

The student can fill out whatever they want to about themselves, and college admissions folks can search the database based on their criteria (IE: certain GPA, location, passions, etc). The admissions folks can download pages of information on students and contact the students with a email address that Zinch provides every student so that the student can keep all their college information in one easy to find place.

This looks like a great idea to me sissy - particularly since you're looking for writing or graphics artists type education to get into them fields. You can upload them covers that you did for D and some of your video things or whatever. There's a tour at www.zinch.com/jojo - it explains the whole process a lot better than I could. So check that out at least.

And, siiiisssssy.... it's FREE! So what ya got to loose? Check it out. (sample screen cap below)
