I see the ground

Finally, after months and months of being locked up under that cold blanket of snow, I can see the ground. There are still patches of snow in the yard, places where it was piled up extra deep or compacted from the weight of sliding off the roof, etc, but it's mostly melted off out there.

Now if the trees will just burst into life so that there is some greenery out there instead of just that depressing looking skeletal tree landscape of old burnt black spruce and leafless birch and willow trees.

Need to get after the lawn with a rake too, get it ready for spring and put in some more planter boxes out there for flowers.
