Recently, Capella University was pleased to announce that one of their students, Ms. Tammy Alexander of Knoxville, TN, had been awarded the prestigious 2006 FBI Director's Community Leadership Award.
As the director for Information Assurance and Cybersecurity Training at Fountainhead College of Technology in Knoxville, Ms. Alexander was honored to be the award recipient for 2006, saying “There are a lot of people who are deserving of this award.”
Pursuing a Master's Degree in education at capella university, with an emphasis on enrollment management, Ms. Alexander currently holds a Bachelor's Degree in Network Security and Forensics from Fountainhead College of Technology.
The prestigious FBI Director's Community Leadership Award was established by the Director of the FBI in 1990 as a way to publicly recognize the achievements of individuals and organizations actively involved in community crime prevention. The award is given annually to one individual or organization from each of the FBI's 56 field offices.
Capella University was founded in 1993 and is an accredited online university that offers graduate degree programs in business, information technology, education, human services, and psychology, and bachelor’s degree programs in business and information technology.
