Me and my mom went into town a few times in the past few weeks shopping around looking for a large screen flat panel television that we could get for my dad. Running around to stores checking the prices on televisions would have been a lot easier online. Instead of driving from one store to another in the Valley and discovering that no one had what we wanted, we could have just checked the Krillion website and seen what the local retailers have.
If, like me, you have a need to find a television or major appliance, then you should check out the Krillion website. I was pleasantly surprised to discover they have a map feature on the site that allows you to search for the product you are looking for and find out who has it, and where they are located.
For example: Running a search for Insignia HDTV will bring up a list of the various kinds of Insignia HDTVs, select the one you are looking for and you will see a product description page. A tab on the details allows you to enter your zip code to find nearby retailers viewing either a list that includes the price or a map view that pinpoints their locations using Google Earth technology.
For a site that was founded this past February, Krillion looks to me like it is setting the bar for comparison shopping and I can't wait to see what this site has in store for helping shoppers in the future.
