Moose spotting in Alaska

I was sitting here just about dusk last night and looked out my window at a sound. There stood our friendly neighborhood moose. He was apparently following the line of grass along the edge of the house here. His shoulders were right even with my window, the fluffy shoulder hair easily seen out the window. It was a shame it was so dark out already, I couldn't get a picture of him and I sure as hell was not about to use the flash even if it would not have reflected back off the window. Last thing I need is a startled bull moose tossing his head and knocking his nose through my window. So, I just watched as he wandered on by. He'll be around all winter now. My sister left here a few hours later and said he was bedded down sleeping just past our driveway.
