Need to go chair shopping soon

I was sitting in my dad's recliner last night watching TV with my mom after my dad went to bed. It is starting to get time to replace the old recliner, the foot rest is not really working that well anymore and the padding is a bit lumpy here and there. I would love to get him one of those lift chairs to make it easier for him to get up, but I think that since he sleeps in the recliner a lot it might be better to get one of those massage chair ones that have the built in massager deals and heating stuff, unfortunately I think we'll have to just get a normal old fashioned recliner when we can afford to pick one up. I would really like to get him a comfortable recliner that can look like it would fit into 1800's, but I don't think they make them like that.
