US Airways raises costs - $2 for water

US Airways has decided to make a significant increase in the fees they are going to be charging their passengers. It now costs $2 for a drink on the airline - if you want water. Sod, coffee and juice will cost you more and you can expect to have to pay $7, not $5, for an alcoholic beverage.

And I complained when they stopped with the complimentary meals - sheesh! Now you can't even have a sip of water without forking out two bucks. And you can't even bring your own, because you can't get it past the security checkpoint. I think I paid nearly $5 the last time I bought a bottled water past the security checkpoint in the airport. If I had not had a massive migraine and could not dry-swallow the aspirin I had just bought I definitely would have passed on $5 for a bottle of water.
