Golf

Those that have been regular readers of this blog know that me and my mom had wanted to have our own mini golf course here. We did some work on getting areas laid out and had the clubs and everything, it's not exactly a golf course out there, but this was a lousy summer anyway. I asked dad last night about what he would think of me and him getting some golf equipment and maybe going out to the courses a few times next summer - a suggestion that was met with something only slightly better than a snort from my older sister. I think dad would enjoy playing a bit of golf, and mom had thought so as well, but I guess we won't be doing that next summer after all. That's not going to stop me from building the mini golf course that her and I had planned on building. I'm still getting that built because I think that it would be something not only I would enjoy, but that dad would enjoy watching the grandkids and greatgrandkids have fun with.
