Buzzirk Mobile

Beginning in August 2009, Buzzirk Mobile authorized resellers will have two phones available for customers. The Buzzirk HTC TyTN II ($399) and the Pharos Traveler 127 ($499).

Buzzirk Mobile is a business opportunity being marketed though Global Verge, a Missouri based company. Buzzirk Mobile is the distributor of ZER01 Wireless, which uses a technology that takes calls over traditional phone lines, and routes them through the Internet from local cell towers. This routing system allows the costs of calls to be significantly reduced.

This allows Buzzirk to allow customers to sign up to no contract, unlimited, voice and data plans for a flat monthly fee. As of this posting the current monthly fee for such plans is $79.95 per month, however, that is subject to change. Additional lines are able to be added for $10 a month, and you can transfer your old phone number to Buzzirk Mobile.

About the phones, available August 1, 2009 through Buzzirk Wireless resellers:

The Buzzirk HTC TyTN II features Windows Mobile® 6 Professional, a tilting touchscreen and slide-out keyboard, built-in GPS and a built-in 3 megapixel camera.

The Pharos Traveler 127 features a Windows Mobile® 6.1 Professional Processor operating system, up to 200 hours of standby time, 7 hours talk time on 2G (5 hours on 3G) and a 3.1 mega pixel CMOS built-in camera with autofocus.
