Don't want to heat water on stove

I am getting very tired of heating water on the stove one kettle at a time to wash dishes and such. I can not keep up with the dirty dishes in the kitchen and this is even after I put everything that was a non-essential item into boxes.

The final straw was when I was trying to pour water into the sink for washing dishes and ended up scalding my hand when the kettle slipped. I want the water and heating system in this house fixed. Grrrrr.
