Considering reliable transportation

My dad once again brought up that he wants to go get a dependable car that we can drive around, so that got us to talking with about what we want in a new car. It is agreed that the one thing we both want is something that will tow our boat and trailer so that we can take them out to the lakes and around the state during the summer. We would also like something that gets good enough gas mileage that we can actually get out and do stuff this summer. One thing I would really like is something comfortable enough that he is able to ride for long distances in it without getting worn out.
