Eagle Painting for my Dad's birthday

I have been working for the past week on a painting of an eagle for my dad for his birthday. I'm rather happy with how it turned out, so figured I would post a picture of it here.

I used artist acrylics on 1/4 inch stimson hardboard and sealed with a matte finish sealant before I cut to size and placed into the frame that I had selected for it before I even began to paint.

The frame was one that has been kicking about the house for years waiting for the perfect picture to go into it.
