Tis the time to diet

What is it about the holidays, starting at Halloween, that makes people think more and more about the need for getting into shape? Probably the onslaught of parties and food and stuff. Huh? For a few months at the end of every year there are so many ways to gain weight that we all invariably start to think about buying new fitness equipment to help us lose those extra pounds that we are putting on between October and New Year's.

I need to get things organized to where I can do more dieting over the next few months, stave off the excess of calories and stay in shape despite the inability to get out and move int he winter time in Alaska.
