Time to get out the tree

Christmas is almost here, and even though I have gone back and forth on Grinch to feeling cheerful for the holidays, I am thinking that I will get the tree out of the basement and celebrate the holidays - after all, this is likely the last Christmas I will celebrate in my parent's house if something does not happen that I manage to save the place. That would about require a miracle, though, so I am not going to believe that is going to happen until after it has happened. Certainly not going to bet everything I have on being able to pull off owning their house when dad and I were not able to get me set up with the insurance he had wanted to get into place for me.
