The Emergency Preparedness and Response page at the CDC proclaims itself to be the Social Media: Preparedness 101: Zombie Apocalypse - this is a more serious issue than many people realize and I want to let you know why you need to visit it and make sure that you are prepared.

Zombies are a very serious issue that we need to be prepared for. I warned people about them back in 2007. The CDC has now realized just what a serious issue zombies are and wants to make sure that you are prepared if zombies rise up. They can help you assemble a preparedness kit, and let's face it, there is no reason not to be prepared for the zombie apocalypse. Right? And, bonus, if you are prepared for zombies to attack, then you are going to be prepared for just about anything else!

So, go to the CDC website and get ready today. Your friends and family might snicker at your zombie apocalypse preparedness kit, but when the zombies (or other disasters) strike they will be glad you thought ahead!
