Panning for Gold in a Cup

Sunny warm days, nothing really to do but get out and enjoy the recreational areas and activities this great state has to offer, I really should dig out all of my mom's old gold pans and sluice boxes and stuff and go up into the hills to do a bit of treasure hunting.

I need to set up my ATV with a swap box I can put onto the back of it, pre-loaded with pans, treasure metal detectors, a sluice box and a cooler for a few non-alcoholic beers so I can go kick back by the stream and pan for gold or wander along the riverside and see what treasures I can locate dropped in the sandy beach.

I think that would be a much better use of some of the hours upon hours of daylight that Alaska summers have to offer.
