Okay, I wanted to take a look at the Costume City Coupons at Drop Down Deals a few days ago, but personal issues ended up leaving me elbow deep in some other things. I've got that on a side burner for the moment, though, so I can take a look at Drop Down Deals.
What are they?
Drop Down Deals provides a downloadable plug-in to let you receive deals for websites you visit. They offer coupons for more than 5,000 online stores such as Sears, Lowe's, Office Depot, and Target.
Why are they of interest?
For the savings they can offer you when you shop online. Before you go shopping for your costume this Halloween, make sure that you check out things like the costume city coupons available through Drop Down Deals, it could save you money.
While I do not have time at the moment to download it and give it a proper first person review, I can tell you that it has had over 5,500 downloads at CNet, and is ranked as 5/5 stars by the CNet editor, and 4 and a half out of 5 stars by users. (The only low rating reads to me as though the poster had intended to comment on a different program entirely).
All in all, it looks to me like it might be a decent tool for anyone that shops online and wants to make sure they are aware of deals available at their favorite online retailers.
